Honouring the sacred principle of Annadaan through regular food distribution drives, food-wastage reduction, and community meal sharing.
“All our Mauli have highlighted this important principle – “Anna Paramo Brahma” – that can broadly be understood as equating “food” to “ultimate God”. Such is its significance that donating food (Aannadan) is considered ultimate kind of donation. Our charity would always aim to promote food and water distribution to the needing people and to promote reduction in food wastage.”
The teaching ‘Anna Paramo Brahma’ — that food is the ultimate manifestation of the divine — lies at the very heart of this initiative. Our volunteers take this principle to heart by conducting regular Annadaan drives, preparing meals with care, and ensuring that no one within our reach goes hungry.
At our own events and celebrations, we adopt food-wastage reduction as a core practice, leading by example within the community. We also partner with established food-relief charities to amplify our impact and reach those who need it most.
